Shyloh-Dawn has been teaching since 2009, teaching both in Medicine Hat and abroad. She has taught a variety of subjects and grades from 6-12. She is an Inclusion Learning Teacher at Eagle Butte High School, working in this capacity since 2019. In her position, Shyloh-Dawn supports students experiencing challenges that make school success difficult. This could include learning challenges, physical health concerns, and mental health concerns. Recently, Shyloh-Dawn completed an M.Ed through the University of Calgary, focusing on Inclusion and Supporting and Enhancing Children’s Mental Health. Outside school, Shyloh-Dawn enjoys games, trivia, reading, and spending time with her partner, their two dogs, and their cat.
