Vanessa finished her PhD at the University of Alberta in the Department of Medical Genetics this past summer. During her time in university she volunteered with Let’s Talk Science where she was a coordinator responsible for teaching science demonstrations and organizing outreach events. She joined the Science in Motion team and has loved being able to travel all across Alberta bringing fun and engaging science lessons and demonstrations to children of all ages. She is excited to share her passion for science through being a member of the Science in Motion team and bringing all our exciting programs to schools across Alberta.
